Taylor’s Residents Financial Hardship Fund
Taylor’s Hostel Management (THM) has made the Taylor's Residents Financial Hardship Fund (“the Fund”) available to residents who are experiencing unexpected or severe hardship.
This initiative aims to help financially vulnerable residents and their families who were badly affected by unforeseen circumstances including the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. The Fund is for residents to cover their incurred accommodation cost at Taylor’s Residences.
We hope that the Fund will help ease residents financial and emotional burden, allowing residents to continue their living and learning journey at ease. The Fund will be awarded on an individual basis and all applications will be carefully assessed and evaluated by the Taylor’s Resident Financial Hardship Committee.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Open to new or existing residents in Taylor’s Hostel.
- Open to local or international residents.
- Is experiencing financial hardship due to socioeconomic situation and/or special needs.
- Can provide proof of financial disadvantage and/or special needs.
HOW DO I APPLY?
- Residents may submit their applications online via this form from 29th June 2020 onwards.
- Eligible applicants may be contacted for an interview, where you will be advised on any additional supporting documents or information that is required.
- Applications will take approximately 4 weeks to process and priority will be given to those most in need.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The Fund is granted as a monthly rental fee waiver and will be reflected in the upcoming 6-month payment.
- Eligible residents with the utmost demonstrated need for financial support will be prioritised.
- Taylor’s reserves the right to cancel or modify any Fund granted for any reason, including suspicious, fraudulent or misleading information provided by the applicant.
- The Fund is not exchangeable for cash.
- All decisions are final with regards to the outcome of the application and the amount granted.
