Over the past year, Taylor's Residence has undergone a major refurbishment to enhance the comfort, functionality and overall living experience for our residents. After more than a decade of serving students from around the world, parts of the residence were ready for renewal. Our refurbishment programme focused on modernising living spaces, improving shared facilities and creating a more welcoming environment that supports both study and community life. What makes this transformation unique is that it was carried out while the residence remained fully operational. With students living on campus year-round, upgrades were carefully phased and managed to minimise disruption while maintaining a comfortable living environment. Today, residents enjoy refreshed spaces designed with practicality, durability and wellbeing in mind.
G Floor Lift Lobby

Security Walkway
BeforeThe previous security walkway reflected the original design and finishes of the facility.

Reception Lobby
BeforeThe lobby functioned primarily as a reception area with a formal counter and minimal space for resident interaction.
AfterThe refreshed lobby transforms the space into a warm communal hub with lounge seating and a shared pantry for studying and socialising.
U Lounge Signage
BeforeThe U Lounge entrance featured standard signage and temporary notice displays for communication.
AfterThe refreshed entrance introduces modern signage and integrated digital displays, creating a cleaner and more contemporary frontage.
