500 LaunchPads to Deliver - 2020

A group of 40 residents embarked on a community project to end period poverty among refugees living in Malaysia.

The LaunchPad Project aims to donate over 500 handmade reusable sanitary pads to vulnerable female refugees during the Movement Control Order. The need for reusable pads is even greater now as many refugees do not have funds to stock up on pads. This situation is made worse by the loss of income and inability to leave their homes during this period. We believe all women should be able to bleed with dignity, regardless of nationality.

Made with recyclable materials such as t-shirts, each sanitary napkin (a.k.a LaunchPad) takes about 20 minutes to be sewn. They can be worn for up to 8 hours and can be washed, dried and reused safely for up to 2 years.

IF YOU KNOW A REFUGEE who is in need of sanitary pads, please send a WhatsApp message to +6012-511-7165 with their name, phone number and full address.

We will mail it to refugees for free using Express Post (Pos Laju), while stocks last. To learn more about the LaunchPad Project, watch this video: https://youtu.be/jDyAjeEm_J8
