Living Right Cooking Class

Throughout history, people have bonded over the simple act of preparing food and cooking together. Our residents got to experience that and more when they attended a cooking class facilitated by fellow resident Kasumi, a Year 2 Bachelor of Culinary Management student from Japan. The initiative was organized by our Student Resident Council (SRC) and it was a perfect opportunity for the residents to acquire creative and practical living skills. This time, “spaghetti bolognese” and “jacket potatoes” was on the menu.

This class highlighted to residents how they CAN cook simple healthy meals while on a budget. Many residents (and their stomachs) enjoyed the session. The cooking class received a Net Promoter Score of +93
