Glam Gala x Body Shop Malaysia


On 26 Jan, we hosted the Glam Workshop with The Body Shop, empowering over 30 residents with self-care insights. From skincare to makeup, our participants dazzled at the Glam Gala event, organized by our Resident Community Council (RCC). Let's shine together! They had fun interacting with one another whilst taking in grooming tips from the experts.


Hold The Lion, Do The Dance


On 2 Feb, our Chinese New Year celebrations at Taylor’s Residence was a hit! Over 30 students immersed themselves in a vibrant Lion Dance Workshop, led by the Xuan Long Lion Dance Troupe, showcasing the tradition's significance. From synchronized performances to a festive dinner and welcome orientation session for new residents, the event fostered community spirit and cultural understanding.


Wet & Wild


On 3 Feb, our residents dived into the excitement of Wet and Wild at Nook / Waterfront Residence! Participants faced thrilling challenges that put their general knowledge and agility to the test, fostering teamwork and building a vibrant community. With lasting memories and strengthened bonds, it was an event not to be missed!


Water Safety Workshop


On 24 Feb, Taylor’s Residence partnered with the Red Rescue and conducted a Water Safety & Drowning Prevention workshop. 30 active participants were trained by highly accomplished lifeguards on swimming, rescue & floatation techniques sufficient to render basic lifesaving support. This workshop received raving reviews from the participants who felt “empowered by knowledge and felt united in safety".


Sports Day


2 March was our Sports Day extravaganza for Nook-Waterfront Residence at Taylor's Sport Complex. 75 residents brought their A-game to the court for some intense Futsal and Captain Ball action. From strategic plays to spectacular saves, it was a day filled with adrenaline-pumping moments and unforgettable memories. Through these activities, we strengthened bonds, fostered teamwork, and built lasting connections.


Talk To Us Over Tea & Toast


On 6 March, our 'Talk to Us over Tea & Toast' event saw nearly 70 residents enjoying freshly toasted bread, topped with strawberry, peanut butter, and blueberry jam - paired with a comforting cup of tea! Hosted by our Taylor’s Residence team, consisting of staff from Operations, Finance, Facilities Management, Marketing and Resident Community Services (RCS). It's not just breakfast – it's a time to connect, discuss, and ensure every student's well-being needs are met. Join us every Wednesday, if you are our resident and participant in our healthy journey together.


Mobile Legend Gaming Night


On 7 March, 35 Taylor's Residents delved into epic battles where they found not just exhilaration but a sense of relaxation amidst upcoming exams. In the midst of their intense gaming, strategies were plotted, friendships flourished, and stress melted away, providing a much-needed break from their daily academic grind. Kudos to all participants for turning exam jitters into digital victories.


Let Loose With Fuze


On 8 March, two-dozen residents unleashed their dance-robic moves, putting their strength and stamina to test! This event delivered a host of benefits for mind, body, and soul. From sharpening their focus to boosting energy levels, residents found themselves not just sweating away their stress but also learning holistic well-being methods, essential for academic excellence and personal fulfilment.


Educational Visit to Parliament of Malaysia


On 12 March, our Resident Community Council (RCC) members embarked on an enlightening visit to the Parliament of Malaysia. All 9 members gave the event a remarkable +100 NPS score. Exploring the legislative process firsthand, they gained insights into Federal laws, policy reviews, and budget approvals. Engaging discussions with Ministers deepened their understanding of democracy, energizing them to plan community actions.


An Iftar To Remember


On 1 April, Taylor's residents and staff orchestrated a meaningful Iftar gathering at Surau Al-Bukhary, our a neighbour.Hosting an educational activity for over 20 Kampung Lindungan Tahfiz school children and welcoming more than 100 community members to the Iftar dinner, the event was an eye-opener and a nexus for cultural exchange.
